Most of the banking business in the Middle East countries is far behind the international standards in terms of the quality of service provided to customers.
Lack of flexibility to adapt to the ongoing and fast changes in Banking facilities / products offering, and the ability to accommodate the latest technology of Delivery Channels to provide better and fast service to customers.
These factors have direct impact on the banks? performance and affects negatively the bank profitability.Accordingly, and with the growing competition between banks over the existing customer base, and the need to interface with the international community, there will be no choice for banks but to replace their existing operational IT systems, otherwise they will be out of business very soon.
