The Malaysian economy is a model for successful transformation from an agricultural economy to an industrial economy, heading towards knowledge economy.

On 01 July 2004 Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi prime minister of Malaysia visited Al-Ma-dinah Al-Munawarrah to show the Malaysian government's commitment to support the holistic development program in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarrah region through the digital economy program starting with the e-government project (e-madinah).
Malaysian expertise worked hand to hand with In-tegrated Visions professionals to deliver Al-Madi-nah Al-Munawarrah e-Government strategic studies, and is working closely on the development of the Digital Economy Program which will involve a large number of Malaysian government / private companies in a wide range of development projects.
DE program is aims to create a knowledge society in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarrah region by 2025.
Integrated visions Malaysia gained the status of a Multimedia Super Corridor company (www.mdc.com.my). We are proud of our partnership with the Malaysian government.
During HRH King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, King of Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, visit to Malaysia, the Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, assured the continued support of the Malaysian government to Al-Madinah Al-Munawarrah program, and hopes for a roll out elsewhere in the Kingdom, building on the initial success in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarrah e-Government project.
This was announced by Malaysian foreign minister Dato Seri Syed Hamid Albar in the Malaysian national newspapers on 01 February 2006.
E-Commerce Malaysia, designed and constructed a range of idigital marketplaces in partnership with G15 Chamber of Commerce Federation. the project covers seven hundred and forty eight chambers of commerce from member countries, namely Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Senegal, Srilanka, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.
A number of developments are under way in Egypt and Ye-men. Through IVG International's partnership approach a number of K. E. developments are underway now, in Egypt and Yemen. The Global knowledge economy development and innovation partnership, focus on the Middle East and Africa.
